Plagiarism, both intentional and unintentional, is rampant in today's classrooms. And the world of digitization only makes it easier. Don't get blue over the thought of plagiarism in your classroom.
Your PMF team is composed of part-time agents who come from a variety of professions, each operative was chosen based on the particular skills necessary to the mission.
Take notes on your thoughts, either individually or as a team--you can have one set of notes for the team or one per person.
Inspiration is a good tool for this (either the outline tool or the diagram tool—your choice). If you're not familiar with it, you can try it out or make a concept map on paper (blue paper is in the kit for this purpose)
Focus your thoughts on two areas:
Proactive—how do you plan to prevent digital plagiarism (either from fellow students or outside sources) from ever occurring in your classroom?
Reactive—what will you do when it does happen (consider district, school, and parental policies as well as your own)?
Be prepared for the Secretary to ask for these notes or for you to share your findings with other PMF teams or operatives (Hint: somebody should save the Inspiration file(s) either as project files or product files; or have your blue paper with you at the end).
